Sir David Attenbowow.

I’m a sucker for anything related to Sir David Attenborough. The almost-96-year-old naturalist is a passionate advocate for conservation and a wholesome staple in every household. An inspiration to children and adults alike, Sir David also possesses that classic dry British humor with a touch of cheek.  And that automatically lends itself to numerous well-intentioned memes.

He turns 97 on May 8. So here’s a toast to you, Sir David. Happy birthday and thank you for keeping us honest.

Bonus points if you read everything in his voice!

“They were once mighty beasts. Savage. Feral. Vicious. Hundreds of thousands of years of evolution have honed their hunting skills to make them the apex predators they are today. Here is a male wolf descendant in his prime. Notice his lean, long legs and intense eyes. Today he will learn to hunt. His prey? The elusive potato chip.”

“And here we see the North American corgi in its natural habitat. After a busy morning of doing absolutely nothing, the female wakes up to stalk and hunt her natural prey – cream cheese and bagels.”

“A little-known fact about the Welsh corgi is that they are masters of camouflage. They seamlessly blend into their surroundings, waiting to pounce on unsuspecting ankles. By the time the victim realizes they’ve been ambushed, it is too late. The ankles have been bitten, the cheese has been stolen. And the Welsh corgi waddles away, victorious once again.”
